Our client, a rapidly expanding US retailer, is seeking a skilled Social Compliance Manager to lead compliance activities across sites in Chonburi. This role offers an exciting opportunity to conduct risk analysis, organise audits, and communicate with vendors and customers on compliance-related topics. The successful candidate will be well-organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have a strong sense of responsibility.

What you'll do:

As a Social Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading compliance activities across various sites.

You will be responsible for ensuring that suppliers meet customer audit standards and comply with company policies. Your ability to compile and analyse internal and external information to prepare compliance audit data will be highly valued.

  • Conduct routine risk analysis and assessment for factories or related vendors following the profound social compliance audit standards
  • Organise audits at factories with external parties, keep track of reports, prepare & implement corrective action plans
  • Ensure suppliers implemented the CAPS and met the relevant customers’ audit standards
  • Communicate with vendors regularly on Company policy and ensure suppliers comply with those requirements
  • Communicate with external customers regarding compliance related topics
  • Prepare compliance audit data by compiling and analysing internal and external information
  • Document remediation progress at the factory considering the need to reference and search in an efficient manner
  • Organise social audit training for internal customers and suppliers to ensure they are updated on the standards

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Social Compliance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in social compliance auditing within the Consumer Goods, Plastic such as Housewares or Home Cleaning.Your proven ability to communicate effectively with external customers is essential for this role.

  • At least 10 years of Social Compliance Audit experience in Housewares or Home Cleaning industry
  • Well-organised, detailed-minded, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
  • BSCI or SMETA certification would be advantageous
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese would be beneficial
