Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Director for their Food & Beverage division. This role is pivotal in assuring License to Operate and Regulatory Compliance, with a focus on shifting the mindset towards Quality Assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an overall strategy that increases Quality awareness, ownership, and accountability at all levels. This role offers the opportunity to develop and execute a Quality Assurance, Control and Food Safety strategy that assures the delivery of safe and high-quality products.

What you'll do:
As a Quality Director in the Food & Beverage sector, you will play a crucial role in leading the transformation towards a Quality Assurance mindset. You will be responsible for developing strategies that ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality products. Your role will involve overseeing quality performance across various departments, advising on food safety policies, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, proactively leading improvements in food safety and quality, as well as managing the department's budget. Your commitment to quality assurance will help raise consumer satisfaction levels while growing business through quality initiatives.
- Lead and implement Quality transformation to improve ways of working and people capability.
- Develop and implement Quality Strategies and roadmap for Quality in Make and Customer Supply Chain group.
- Oversee and assess Quality Performance in both QA Make and Customer Supply Chain, ensuring key initiatives are implemented.
- Advise on food safety policy, systems, and standards in line with corporate strategy.
- Ensure processes are compliant with HACCP, ISO Quality and Food Safety, GMP, and Hygiene Requirements.
- Proactively lead implementation of food safety and quality improvements.
- Manage the Quality department budget.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this role brings extensive experience in Quality Assurance within the food industry. With at least 10 years' experience under your belt, including 5 years in a managerial role, you have a deep understanding of HACCP, GMP, ISO9001:2000. Your knowledge extends to dairy products and production processes. You are comfortable working in multi-functional groups and matrix organizations, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex reporting lines. Your well-developed analytical skills, coupled with your excellent communication abilities, make you an effective leader. You also bring change management skills to the table, ready to lead the transformation towards a Quality Assurance mindset.
- At least 10 years’ experience with 5 years in Managerial role in Quality Assurance (HACCP, GMP, ISO9001:2000) preferably in food industry
- Knowledgeable on dairy products and production processes
- Experience in working in multi-functional groups and matrix organization
- Experience and knowledge on Food Hygiene, GMP, HACCP, 5S, Continuous Improvement, Quality System, Project Management
- Ability to work in a matrix organization with both functional and hierarchical reporting lines
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Change Management skills
