What you'll do:
As a Quality Assurance Manager in the Food & Beverage sector, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the high-quality standards our client is known for. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust quality assurance policies, conducting regular inspections, resolving any arising issues, and maintaining comprehensive records. Your expertise will also be crucial in monitoring performance metrics, ensuring product documentation accuracy, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with external entities. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production facilities
- Investigate and resolve quality issues and customer complaints
- Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities
- Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics
- Ensure proper documentation and labelling of products
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies

The ideal candidate for this Quality Assurance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in food quality assurance along with strong knowledge of food safety regulations. You should have proven experience working with HACCP, GMP, ISO/IEC17025, ERP or SAP systems. Experience with auditing processes is essential as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Experience with HACCP, GMP, ISO/IEC17025 and other quality management systems
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software, ERP or SAP
- Experience with auditing and inspection processes
