Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Quality Improvement Manager to join their team. What you'll do:
As Assistant Quality Improvement Manager, you will manage the SAP QM module, lead risk assessments, and drive quality improvements. Your responsibilities include HACCP plan reviews, coordinating corrective actions, handling non-conforming products, maintaining document control, supporting customer complaint resolution, participating in raw material risk assessments, achieving QA/QC KPIs, and collaborating with HR on a QAQC skill matrix.
- Oversee the SAP QM module to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Spearhead reviews and updates of the HACCP plan.
- Perform risk assessments and implement quality improvements to address product issues.
- Collaborate with teams to initiate corrective and preventive actions for any result discrepancies.
- Supervise the management of non-compliant products.
- Ensure accurate documentation and control of Supplier COA and all QC-related records.
- Assist the QA team in resolving customer complaints related to product quality.
- Lead initiatives for HSE, workplace safety, ISO 14001 compliance, 5S, and continuous improvement projects.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Quality Improvement Manager position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from the food industry. With a minimum of 8 years' experience in Quality Assurance within this sector, you have honed your skills in managing SAP systems (specifically quality management modules), understanding food manufacturing processes and implementing Quality & Food Safety Systems such as GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC, HALAL, and Kosher. Your strong leadership skills, drive for success, project management abilities, and negotiation skills will be key to your success in this role.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in SAP system (Quality Management module).
- At least 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the Food Industry.
- Strong English communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Quality Control, Food Manufacturing processes, and related workflows.
- Expertise in Quality & Food Safety Systems: GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC, HALAL, Kosher.
- Proficient in SAP and statistical analysis tools.
- Strong leadership, project management, negotiation skills, and a drive for success.
