An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join a leading food manufacturer. What you'll do:

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of our client's quality management systems. You will be responsible for creating robust quality and food safety policies that align with lcompany standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining the quality system, managing documentation, coordinating Food Safety Inspections, providing leadership to the quality team, handling customer interactions regarding quality requirements, leading investigations into non-conformance or customer complaints, preparing reports for management teams, and developing cost of quality programs.

  • Maintain and improve the quality system, ensuring consistency and compliance on product quality
  • Manage document modification and preparation of quality manual, procedure, working standard, and customer requirement document
  • Ensure all units of operation within the plant adhere to defined quality standards
  • Coordinate, execute, report, and follow up on Food Safety Inspections according to the standard
  • Provide leadership to the quality team, auditing all aspects of food production to ensure regulatory requirements are met
  • Handle customer and supplier interactions regarding quality requirements
  • Review and maintain record results between production and report deficiency, customer complaints, and customer representative
  • Lead non-conformance/customer complaint investigations, undertaking root cause analysis to identify corrective actions
  • Prepare quality reports for Management Team and Plant Manager
  • Develop, monitor, and report on cost of quality programs

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Quality Assurance Manager role will bring a wealth of experience from within the food manufacturing industry. With at least ten years' experience in the field of quality control and assurance, you will have a strong understanding of food safety and quality. Your proven track record in HACCP or other food safety programs will be invaluable in this role. Experience in quality management systems would be a significant advantage. You will also need to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills in English.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in the field of quality control and assurance
  • Strong understanding of food safety & quality
  • Proven track record in HACCP or other food safety program
  • Experience in quality management systems would be advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills in English
