HSE Manager

An exciting HSE Manager job (x1 Vacancy) has just become available at one of the most respected global chemical specialties manufacturer based in Rayong, Thailand. Reporting directly to a Senior HSE Manager and functionally to Regional HSE Head, this is a role for a seasoned HSE Manager who is a leader in their field with robust & reliable HSE & legal compliance knowledge & management skills.

About the HSE Manager Role:

You will play a critical role for leading and directing to drive effective execution, establish and maintain HSE policies, programmes and procedures at the plant located in Rayong in alignment with global guidelines, ensure legal compliance as per Thai regulation, and improve HSE awareness and culture towards injury free workplace for all stakeholders. You will enjoy attractive allowance and bonus for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage environmental impact in positive direction by monitoring and coordinate with team to ensure all nonconformity are handled effectively, and ensure effective implementation of Environmental Management Programme to meet environment targets and relevant legislation through the regular audits
• Develop HSE programmes, plans and policies in conjunction with Senior Manager, Plant Manager and Regional HSE Head in line with the global HSE guidelines and meeting local/country government compliance
• Ensure availability and validity of legal licenses and Permits for the site in compliance with Thai laws, and act as on-duty emergency director; to develop and participate in Map Ta Phut tabletop drill for emergency
• Train internal auditor team of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 and Occupational Health and Safety manager to achieve and maintain the ISO certificates
• Act as Environmental Management Representative, to manage and decide in environmental management system on behalf of Company's Management
• Prepare, review, and submit relevant governmental documents and reports related to HSE on behalf of the company

To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding of SHE expertise in chemical / petrochemical industries.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HSE or other related fields
• At least 15 years relevant working experience in HSE management in chemical / petrochemical industries
• Experience in Advisor of process safety management
• Very strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Good command of English and Thai
