Senior Quality Manager

An exciting Senior Quality Manager (x1 vacancy) job has just become available at a highly respected automotive part supplier manufacturer based in Chonburi. Reporting operationally to Managing Director (Thai), this is a role for an outstanding Quality Manager who thrives on challenging opportunity working for a trusted supplier to premium automotive brands across the global.

About the Senior Quality Manager Role:

In this critical Quality Management role, you will play an essential leader role to deliver all aspects of quality management systems and quality process development to meet or exceed customers and corporate requirements including internal requirements. You will enjoy allowance and bonus for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all quality-related activities within the manufacturing / operations team, external partners – Process Quality Improvement, Supplier, Quality Management System, Customer Quality Support
• Drive the quality improvement activity as well as lead the regular audit to ensure all the activities are complied with the quality requirement and standard
• Identify root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for all the quality issues
• Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators including scrap monitoring, rework levels, parts per million (PPM) figures
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards
• Participate in the development and refinement of process FMEA’s (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• Lead to arrange the quality regular meeting with cross functional team to report the quality performance and follow up all pending actions to ensure the company quality performance is achieved the customer requirements and standards

To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding of quality management in automotive industry from 1st Tier manufacturing.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher-level qualification in Engineering or related field
• At least 15 years’ experience in quality management within automotive industry
• In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA requirements
• Solid knowledge of core tools (APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, SPC and MSA)
• Good command of Thai and English is a must due to the nature of its business
