What you'll do:
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and execute short- to mid-term strategic roadmaps for operational digital transformation across the region, ensuring all initiatives are aligned with organisational goals.
- Lead the implementation of digitalisation and automation projects throughout operational and supply chain functions, focusing on delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and productivity.
- Deploy and scale global automation and digital platforms such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Integrated Data Frameworks (IDF), and Digital Visualisation Centres (DVC) in accordance with established global standards.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation by developing digital solutions including dashboards, predictive maintenance tools, and warehouse automation systems tailored to business needs.
- Engage collaboratively with regional and global teams as well as cross-functional stakeholders from Technology, Operations, Research & Development, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless system integration and project delivery.
- Oversee the deployment of operational technology (OT) and IT infrastructure for both existing plants and greenfield projects, incorporating robust cybersecurity measures into all implementations.
- Provide expert technical support by troubleshooting complex issues, managing system integrations with vendors and system integrators, and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Champion change management initiatives by building digital capabilities across the organisation through targeted training sessions, workshops, and continuous improvement activities.
- Monitor project progress closely, ensuring timely delivery of milestones while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Information Science or a related discipline is required; holding a postgraduate qualification would be considered advantageous.
- At least five years’ experience working on digital transformation projects involving automation technologies or OT/IT infrastructure within industrial environments is essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and industrial automation systems is necessary for success in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects effectively while engaging constructively with stakeholders from multiple functional areas is highly valued.
- Proficiency in both Thai and English languages is important for effective communication within regional teams as well as with global counterparts.
- Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma methodologies towards process improvement initiatives is desirable; willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required is also expected.
