Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Bangkok. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a prestigious project. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, budgets, deadlines and goals. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage relationships with external stakeholders such as architects and contractors, as well as internal teams.

What you'll do:
As a Project Manager, your primary role will be to steer the overall direction of the project, ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments, budgets, deadlines and goals. You will work closely with the Director of School Development to manage all works for the project. Your responsibilities will also include providing technical construction expertise, coordinating the development of construction operating and capital budgets according to the project budget, facilitating in the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. You will also identify and oversee professional outsourced companies to support with architectural design, construction project and facilities management.
- Develop Construction Forecast aligned with project opening timeline
- Provide technical construction expertise in the management of school construction works
- Coordinate development of construction operating and capital budget according to the project budget
- Facilitate in the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Identify and oversee professional outsourced companies to support with architectural design, construction project and facilities management
- Review project schedules to ensure feasibility and that deadlines can be met
- Resolve construction related problems, disputes and compliance issues
- Oversee budget and ensure financial accountability
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Project Manager role will have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as engineering, architecture or building construction. You must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. A thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc., particularly within Bangkok is vital. Fluency in Thai along with a strong command of English is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision is key. Eight - ten+ years of related experience in the capacity of a project manager is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (engineering/architecture/building construction or equivalent)
