What you'll do:
As an Associate Construction Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's construction projects. You will be responsible for defining policies, coordinating with various internal departments, and ensuring that all aspects of the project adhere to established standards. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing project designs, managing costs, and providing valuable insights to executives. - Define policies for construction projects in coordination with relevant internal departments such as procurement, warehouse, production, etc.
- Collect and verify data for policy formulation to plan construction projects according to the needs of the property owner.
- Ensure contractors meet construction work standards and comply with the Engineering Council's regulations.
- Review project designs and costs for appropriateness and accuracy before presenting for executive approval.
- Consider payment terms according to conditions and work results in each payment period to ensure correctness and prevent company loss.
- Provide consultation, alternatives, and information to executives on general construction work to support organisational growth.
