About the Product Innovation Technologist Role:
Reporting to Global Product Innovation Manager, you will be fully responsible for contributing idea, generate product concept from key insights from both scientific based and behavioural based. You will also work as a technical project leader to conduct the meeting with global, regional, and core functional teams to validate and ensure feasibility of ideas or prototype. Your leadership will extend to risk management, where you'll embrace a mindset of identifying potential challenges and opportunities. You'll also ensure alignment with our business model, delivering solutions that meet our high standards for nutrition, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, shelf-life, and claims. The salary range for this role is competitive with provident fund and medical insurance.
Act as the technical project lead for global product innovation projects, representing all R&D functions as part of the core project team
Craft and refine innovative propositions that elevate the quality and appeal of essential main meals for portfolio, oversee the technical delivery of medium/high complexity innovation projects or sub-projects, ensuring compliance with relevant business processes
Lead the technical project team in risk and opportunity management, delivering robust risk assessments and timely communication to stakeholders
Ensure product solutions deliver to agreed business model that consistently delivers against project critical success factors and targets
Generate and be the custodian of relevant project deliverables at various stage gates across business process
Collaborate seamlessly with global and local marketing, process and packaging innovation, regional and site R&D, commercial, CMI, and supply chain teams
Build functional excellence in product development by staying informed about technological, innovation and business trends
Proactively manage intellectual property risks and opportunities
To succeed in this role, you must have high agility to initiate ideas and action plans to drive across functional team and all work levels.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Engineering
At least six years’ experience working in product development or product innovation in food industry
Excellent interpersonal, leadership and project management skills, to lead cross functional team and build trust will all key stakeholders
Proven experience in translating insights into product execution (Idea to concept to execution)
Fluent English and Thai (written and spoken)
