Research & Development Manager - Food

A leading FMCG company who has a direction to expand their business in food and beverage is looking for the R&D Manager (x1 vacancy) to be based in Samutprakarn to be responsible for activities of develop research programs incorporating with current developments to improve existing products and study the potential of new products. The role requires a team management with strong business acumen.

About The R&D Manager Role:

In this role you will be responsible for end to end research and development, including research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, process and equipment. You will be responsible for suggest training tools to enhance employee performance and skill development. The remuneration package is competitive with performance bonus, provident fund, health insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer expectations on to-be manufactured products
• Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors and customers
• Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with marketing and operations team
• Lead key projects with R&D team to support business goals
• Transfer, introduce new technologies, products and manufacturing process into company

To succeed in this job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operative with stakeholders, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, or any related field
• At least ten years' experience in relevant position with deep understanding of business needs, commercial sense of business and experience in collaboration with internal stakeholder
• Excellent leadership with problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in Thai and English (both written and spoken)
• Ability to communicate well with customers, colleagues and team members
