About the Automation Director Role:

This is a great opportunity for the Automation Manager to redevelop the know-how and knowledge in the high growth organisation. You will lead, develop and implement control system related projects as business needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain safety, reliability and regulatory compliance with the highest priority
• Provide technical and troubleshooting support to operations for process events as it relates to control systems
• Leverage the available technologies to provide optimal control solutions for the production network
• Lead the standardisation of approach across our network as it applies to SCADA, I/N, TAS, supervisory controls, APC and BEP (Best Economical Point)
• Lead a team of control system specialists and required vendors to implement and maintain the process automation vision across the production network of facilities
• Partner with other directors within the production team to ensure a prioritised approach to the modernisation of the process automation package
• Provide control system technical support during planning, installation, commissioning, start-up and operations

The successful candidate must possess fifteen years of experience and have the ability to work on their own initiative.

Key Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Electrical Control Engineering or related field
• More than six years of experience in managerial level
• Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma application experience (certification preferred)
