What you'll do:

• Lead the technical execution of product innovation projects by representing research and development interests and guiding cross-functional technical teams from initial concept through validation stages.
• Take ownership of technical delivery for medium to complex projects by ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
• Drive risk management strategies by identifying potential challenges early on and communicating clear, timely updates along with actionable technical insights to all stakeholders involved.
• Ensure that all product solutions adhere strictly to business objectives as well as nutrition, regulatory compliance, safety protocols, sustainability goals, and uncompromising quality requirements.
• Develop comprehensive technical foundations for new products by conducting competitor analysis, leveraging external insights, and making effective use of both internal resources and industry partnerships.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation throughout every stage of the project lifecycle to ensure transparency and traceability.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in marketing, packaging design, process engineering, regional research teams, supply chain management, and commercial operations to enable seamless implementation of new products.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, evolving market trends, and intellectual property considerations so you can apply these insights directly to ongoing innovation projects.
• Support organisational capability building by coaching peers and providing training sessions focused on best practices in product development.

What you bring:

• A graduate degree in Food Science or a related discipline such as Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required for this position.
• You bring at least six years’ experience in food product development or innovation roles where you have demonstrated your ability to deliver results.
• Your written and verbal communication skills in English are highly developed so you can engage effectively with international teams.
• You have proven experience leading technical project teams through complex assignments while maintaining focus on quality outcomes.
• Your track record shows how you translate consumer insights into executable product solutions that resonate in the marketplace.
