What you'll do:

As a Process Specialist Pilot Plant based in Rayong, you will play a pivotal role in supporting customer trial runs by operating sophisticated processing and packaging machinery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols while ensuring all equipment functions optimally. You will be entrusted with executing cleaning routines for machinery, monitoring maintenance schedules, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise, and managing logistics for both raw materials and finished goods.

The package includes base salary + performance bonus + provident fund

  • Work hands-on with pilot plant processing and packaging equipment to ensure efficient operation during customer trial runs.
  • Apply your knowledge of aseptic plant operations to maintain high standards of food safety throughout all processes.
  • Follow established GMP/GHP requirements to guarantee safe and sanitary working conditions at all times.
  • Execute proper start-up and shut-down procedures for various processing equipment such as UHT steriliser, homogeniser, mixer, pumps, grinding equipment, retort, and more.
  • Perform cleaning-in-place (CIP) and cleaning-out-of-place (COP) routines for pilot plant machinery to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and record maintenance activities related to process controls of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues with processing equipment promptly to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Operate utilities required for the smooth functioning of the pilot plant during trials and routine operations.
  • Manage logistics for raw materials and finished products involved in customer trials at the pilot plant facility.
  • Oversee project management aspects of customer trials by coordinating resources, timelines, and communication between stakeholders.

What you bring:

Your background as a Process Specialist Pilot Plant Food Packaging should include substantial experience within commercial or pilot UHT food processing environments. You will bring technical expertise in aseptic processing technologies alongside formal qualifications in engineering disciplines relevant to the sector. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds while maintaining clear communication channels with customers. A keen eye for detail coupled with strong organisational abilities will allow you to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently. Proficiency in digital tools such as MS Office will support your documentation efforts while your customer-focused approach ensures that client needs are met consistently during trial runs. By combining these attributes with your commitment to maintaining rigorous safety standards throughout all operations, you will thrive in this dynamic role.

  • Diploma or ITE qualification in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering is essential for this position.
  • At least five years’ proven experience working in food processing operations within commercial or pilot UHT plants is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of aseptic food processing technology (UHT) is mandatory for success in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary for effective collaboration across teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications enables efficient documentation and reporting throughout daily operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when working independently.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with analytical thinking ensures accurate execution of complex tasks.
  • Organisational skills are vital for managing multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
