Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting challenge as it involves defining and implementing a Continuous Improvement system from scratch. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting and encouraging a culture change towards manufacturing excellence. This is a unique opportunity to lead complex and diversified Lean Sigma Projects and ensure the deployment of group culture and policies within the plant.

What you'll do:

As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be fully responsible for defining and implementing a Continuous Improvement system. You will play an important leadership role to promote and encourage a culture change toward manufacturing excellence. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing in-house training on CI tools and methodologies for employees, providing technical expertise to the plant on various methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, Kanban, leading complex Lean Sigma Projects, and ensuring that group culture and policies are deployed within the plant.

  • Define the Continuous Improvement implementation strategy, tools, resource requirements, and performance metrics.
  • Develop in-house training on CI tools and methodologies for employees.
  • Provide technical expertise to plant on statistics, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, Kanban methodology, tools, and practices.
  • Support the bottom-up improvement dynamic and promote good practices sharing at site level.
  • Lead complex and diversified Lean Sigma Projects.
  • Ensure that group culture and policies are deployed within the plant.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Continuous Improvement Manager position will bring a wealth of knowledge in continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, 5S methodology. You should have a minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in hands-on implementation of continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial engineering is preferred but candidates with Mechanical, Electrical or Ceramics engineering degrees will also be considered with the right experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role along with a good command of English.

  • Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, 5S methodology.
  • Minimum 5-7 years proven Experience of hands-on implementation of continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt accreditation is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Able to work every other Saturday.
