Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing and executing the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program, leading problem-solving initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. What you'll do:

As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within our client's organisation. You will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the factory, focusing on enhancing quality, productivity, safety, waste reduction and operational processes. Your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams will be key as you work towards improving equipment efficiency, eliminating waste and driving cost reductions. Your commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement will be evident as you participate in the implementation of autonomous maintenance activities and development of the team.

  • Initiate and manage improvement projects aimed at enhancing quality, productivity, safety, waste reduction, working processes and operating systems
  • Efficiently convert raw materials into finished goods while ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • Support the project engineering phase of factory and production line expansion to ensure timely start-up
  • Interact with engineering, operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment efficiency and eliminate waste
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and profit margin increase through improvement projects
  • Implement focused improvement projects in conjunction with the Focused Improvement pillar and Continuous Improvement team
  • Participate in the implementation of autonomous maintenance activities and development of the team on new equipment
  • Ensure process effectiveness of factory operating system
  • Drive the mindset and methodology to increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and foster a zero breakdowns and zero losses culture

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Continuous Improvement Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in production processes and a strong educational background in engineering or a related field. You will have excellent Thai and English writing and speaking skills, with the ability to comfortably present in front of others. Your mechanical machinery aptitude and experience in TPM, AM, 5S, Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving will be invaluable as you drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Over 7 years of experience in continuous improvement, production process with coaching ability
  • Experience in TPM, AM, 5S, Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent Thai and English writing and speaking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), PowerPoint etc.
  • Mechanical machinery aptitude
  • Fundamental understanding of industrial controls
  • Strong organisational skills and self-directed capability
