A leading chemical manufacturing facility in Prachinburi is seeking a Production and Continuous Improvement Manager (x1 position) to oversee all aspects of production operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a supportive team environment.

What you'll do:

As the Production and Continuous Improvement Manager (Chemical Manufacturing), you will be entrusted with overseeing daily operations plant in Prachinburi. Your role will involve orchestrating complex production schedules, ensuring seamless coordination between departments, and maintaining rigorous standards for safety, quality, and environmental compliance. You will work closely with maintenance teams to guarantee equipment reliability while fostering an atmosphere where every team member feels supported in their growth.

The package includes base salary + performance bonus + provident fund

  • Oversee the entire production process for all products manufactured at the Prachinburi plant, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to planning requirements.
  • Issue local batch cards and coordinate production scheduling to align with demand forecasts and resource availability.
  • Monitor material requirements and usage to support production efficiency while minimising waste across all stages of manufacturing.
  • Ensure production targets are consistently met by optimising resource utilisation and reducing downtime through proactive management.
  • Manage change control (MOC) processes effectively at the site to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure all production equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and kept in excellent working condition by coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance plans with relevant teams.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards as well as environmental compliance throughout all production activities, driving a culture of safety awareness at every level.
  • Supervise shift supervisors in manpower planning and scheduling while supporting operators’ training and development needs for effective performance.
  • Motivate teams to improve product quality, cost efficiency, and safety outcomes through collaborative leadership and regular performance monitoring.
  • Participate actively as a member of the Quality Improvement Committee, leading or supporting new product launches and strategic projects focused on process optimisation.

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing environments with proven expertise in batch processing operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in lean six sigma methodologies applied within industrial settings for process optimisation and continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record in project management including feasibility analysis, process design, cost estimation, scheduling, implementation, and problem resolution throughout project lifecycles.
  • Business fluent English communication skills—both written and oral—are necessary for effective collaboration across local and global teams.
  • Advanced understanding of procedures within chemical engineering disciplines coupled with sound analytical capabilities for data-driven decision making.
  • Experience supervising large teams (upwards of 50 direct/indirect reports), providing coaching, feedback, training opportunities, and fostering inclusive team development.
  • Ability to manage departmental budgets responsibly while contributing to cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety standards.
  • Commitment to promoting strong safety cultures through training programmes, clear communication of policies, immediate corrective actions when needed, and ongoing leadership engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including empathy, dependability, collaborative spirit, customer focus orientation towards internal stakeholders such as Operations and Quality Control.
