What you'll do:
- Set clear production operation objectives that align with corporate targets, cascading these goals effectively throughout departments, sections, and individual roles to ensure unified direction.
- Strategically plan and monitor production budgets by implementing robust cost control systems that maintain efficiency rates for manpower, materials, and machinery within established standards.
- Ensure all production resources—including personnel, equipment, and materials—are fully prepared in accordance with supply chain management requirements to support seamless operations.
- Provide proactive advice, solutions, and constructive feedback to the management team in alignment with factory standards and organisational policies.
- Oversee the implementation of standard operating procedures across manufacturing processes to guarantee consistency in product quality and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as master schedule attainment, service levels, supplier performance, and other critical metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, quality assurance, maintenance, and human resources to foster an environment of open communication and shared responsibility.
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety, inclusivity, and mutual respect among all team members while supporting their ongoing professional development.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation through data analysis and best practice sharing to enhance productivity without compromising on quality or safety standards.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field provides you with the technical foundation necessary for effective plant operation management.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience within plant operations in the food and beverage manufacturing industry ensures you bring deep sector knowledge to the role.
- Demonstrated achievements in managing large-scale manufacturing operations—including oversight of teams exceeding 300 people—highlight your capacity for dependable leadership.
- Well-developed business acumen allows you to understand commercial imperatives while building productive partnerships with stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Proven ability to manage complex budgets by creating both operating budgets and capital expenditure plans collaboratively with other leadership team members.
- Comprehensive understanding of implementing standard procedure instructions—including laboratory protocols, manufacturing guidelines, and good manufacturing practices—ensures consistent compliance.
- Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English enable you to connect effectively with diverse teams at all organisational levels.
- Candidates must be willing to work on an every-other-Saturday schedule.
