What you'll do:

As a Production Manager (Packaging), you will be at the heart of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimise daily production operations for packaging processes. You will ensure that all activities adhere to production schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards. Leading, training, and developing your team to meet performance targets will be an integral part of your role. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams such as QA, Maintenance, and Planning to drive efficiency across the board. Identifying and implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives will be key to your success. Lastly, you will report on KPIs, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and recommend corrective actions.

• Manage and optimise daily production operations for packaging processes

• Lead, train, and develop production teams to meet performance targets

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Production Manager (Packaging) role brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field. You have spent at least five years in a production management role within the packaging manufacturing industry. Your strong leadership skills enable you to guide your team effectively while your excellent problem-solving abilities allow you to tackle any challenges that come your way. You have a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and quality systems. Additionally, you are proficient in using production planning tools and ERP systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a production management role within the packaging manufacturing industry
