Our client is on the lookout for a knowledgeable Director of Industrial Engineering in the field of Electronics to become a part of their team based in Bangkok. This role presents an exhilarating opportunity to guide a team of industrial engineers and section managers, offering clear direction and delegation to support a variety of projects including capex and capacity analysis, introduction of new products & product costing analysis, optimisation of shop floor layout, and development of factory expansion scenarios. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in propelling operational excellence projects with robust deliverables.

What you'll do:

As the Director of Industrial Engineering in Electronics, you will have a central role in overseeing a team of industrial engineers and section managers.

• Support capex and capacity analysis, NPI & product costing analysis
• Enhance shop floor layout and develop factory expansion scenarios
• Provide Industrial Engineering Support in terms of simulation, equipment and manning capacity modelling, facility design and productivity improvements
• Support factory cost reduction project through internal and external benchmarking
• Communicate effectively across teams in manufacturing operations, quality, engineering, facilities and corporate IE teams

What you bring:

• Experience in leading Operational Excellence projects with robust deliverables achieved
• Experience in creating KPIs for team performance tracking
• Experience with Lean methodologies and structured problem solving
• Experience with Statistical data analysis (e.g. DMAIC, SPC, JMP)
• Ability to write scripts in VBA, SQL and ASP for Macros in Excel is required
• Strong oral and written skills in Thai and English
