They are currently seeking an Operation Excellence Manager to lead the development, standardisation, deployment, training & maintenance of Lean Six Sigma tools globally. What you'll do:
As an Operation Excellence Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing and deploying Lean Six Sigma tools on a global scale. Your role will involve serving as a Global Subject Matter Expert for various methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma and Total Productive Maintenance. You will be responsible for leading the deployment of these programs and providing training, coaching and mentoring to employees. Your expertise will also be utilised in conducting workshops and events aimed at promoting best practices within the organisation.
- Serve as the Global Subject Matter Expert for Lean, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Training Within Industry (TWI), Value Engineering (VAVE) & other Lean Six Sigma tools as required.
- Develop & deploy the Hoya Vision Care Production System (HPS).
- Lead the deployment of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, TWI & VAVE programs.
- Training, coaching & mentoring employees in implementation of Lean Six Sigma methods & tools.
- Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Workshops, Kaizen Workshops & Kaizen Events.
- Lead the Lean Six Sigma Global Best Practices sharing & Yokoten.
- Develop & track Lean Six Sigma KPIs.
- Develop Lean Six Sigma Competency Development Program & Certification.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Operation Excellence Manager position brings a wealth of experience in implementing Lean, Six Sigma & Total Productive Maintenance methodologies in a manufacturing setting. With a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering and possibly an MBA degree, you have led deployments across multiple factories or regions. Your excellent communication skills enable you to interact effectively at all levels within an organisation. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
- MBA degree is an added advantage.
- Subject Matter Expert and Hands-on experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma & Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in manufacturing.
- Experience in leading the Lean/Six Sigma/TPM deployment for multiple factories or a region.
- Excellent communication and presentation skill.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English language.
- At least 10-15 years of working experience in the related field.
