Manufacturing Manager - FMCG

An exciting Manufacturing Manager (x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the leading FMCG manufacturing company based in Bangkok, Thailand. Reporting directly to the Factory Director (Expat), this is a role for a Manufacturing or Plant Operations Manager who has strong technical and management skills in production operation and has experienced managing the area of productivity improvement, cost saving, quality, maintenance, safety, and logistics.

About the Manufacturing Manager Role:

In this business critical role, you will lead production and logistics at independence facility. This position will play a key role in the implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards in independence, resulting in improvements in Safety, quality, output and costs. The salary package will be paid as a local package with provident fund and medical insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead to achieve desired production costs, including fixed and variable labour costs, Operating Equipment Efficiency (OEE), waste, attainment and business waste and take ownership of VIP (Very Important Project) ideas year-over-year (YOY)
• Lead and manage manufacturing operation to ensure compliance with safety, health, environment and global standard requirements
• Manage factory logistics operations accountable to deliver logistics cost savings, customer service, and carbon reduction and as well as execution on continuous improvement projects through the application of harmonized logistics processes and systems
• Ensure engagement between departments to be full alignment with production schedule and key production milestones, emphasis on safety/quality collaboration and develop and invest in human capital

To succeed in this job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with stakeholders, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher of Engineering or technical related field
• Minimum of five years’ experience in production or manufacturing, management level, in consumer manufacturing business
• Excellent interpersonal skill, influence people, leadership, passion for high performance
• Strategic thinking with execution capability, strong business acumens, and good leadership and able to influence team
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, concepts and regulations would be an asset
• Leadership experience in continuous improvement (WCM, TPM, Lean Manufacturing)
• Excellent English and Thai communication in business level
