What you'll do:
- Lead comprehensive construction and renovation projects by managing all phases from initial planning and budgeting through execution to final handover, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities including preventive and corrective maintenance of all building systems and equipment to guarantee smooth functioning.
- Manage project timelines meticulously while coordinating contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure that all deliverables meet scope, budgetary constraints, and scheduling requirements.
- Develop robust capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans as well as operational maintenance budgets (OPEX), maintaining strict control over financial resources throughout each project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections alongside thorough risk assessments to uphold safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks across all locations.
- Implement advanced preventive and predictive maintenance strategies designed to extend asset lifecycles and enhance overall reliability of infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support business expansion initiatives, refurbishment projects, and evolving operational needs within the organisation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the facilities team by fostering a culture rooted in accountability, service excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
What you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree of Engineering in mechanical, electrical, civil or a related field.
- At least 10 years’ experience in both construction project management and facilities management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building facility and utility systems coupled with hands-on experience managing contractors as well as understanding safety regulations is essential for success.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets—including CAPEX and OPEX—and negotiate vendor contracts across multiple sites highlights your financial acumen.
- Your leadership style is grounded in empathy; you communicate clearly while nurturing team members’ growth within a supportive environment.
- Proficiency using project management tools alongside MS Office applications enables you to streamline workflows efficiently.
