What you'll do:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities including preventive and corrective maintenance of all building systems and equipment to guarantee smooth functioning.
  • Manage project timelines meticulously while coordinating contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure that all deliverables meet scope, budgetary constraints, and scheduling requirements.
  • Develop robust capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans as well as operational maintenance budgets (OPEX), maintaining strict control over financial resources throughout each project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site inspections alongside thorough risk assessments to uphold safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks across all locations.
  • Implement advanced preventive and predictive maintenance strategies designed to extend asset lifecycles and enhance overall reliability of infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support business expansion initiatives, refurbishment projects, and evolving operational needs within the organisation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the facilities team by fostering a culture rooted in accountability, service excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

What you bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree of Engineering in mechanical, electrical, civil or a related field.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in both construction project management and facilities management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building facility and utility systems coupled with hands-on experience managing contractors as well as understanding safety regulations is essential for success.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets—including CAPEX and OPEX—and negotiate vendor contracts across multiple sites highlights your financial acumen.
  • Your leadership style is grounded in empathy; you communicate clearly while nurturing team members’ growth within a supportive environment.
  • Proficiency using project management tools alongside MS Office applications enables you to streamline workflows efficiently.
