A leading global technology organisation is seeking a Facilities Manager to play a pivotal role in establishing their new manufacturing site in Bangkok, Thailand, specialising in electronics and semiconductors.

What you'll do:

As Facilities Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing every stage of establishing a new manufacturing site in Bangkok. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve identifying optimal locations through careful analysis, conducting feasibility studies to ensure suitability for advanced electronics production, coordinating lease agreements with vendors, and managing the entire fit-out process from layout design to utility installations.

• Identify suitable buildings and locations for the new manufacturing site by conducting thorough market research and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies and detailed site assessments to guarantee that selected locations meet operational requirements and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate leasing activities and vendor negotiations by building strong relationships with local partners, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with Thai regulations.
• Establish robust preventive maintenance programmes for the facility to maximise uptime, safety, and efficiency while minimising disruptions to production.
• Oversee the complete fit-out process including layout planning, utilities installation, safety systems integration, and infrastructure readiness to deliver a fully operational manufacturing environment.

What you bring:

The ideal Facilities Manager brings extensive experience managing complex facilities within manufacturing settings—particularly those involving fit-outs—and possesses deep familiarity with Thai regulatory frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or facilities management or a related field is required for this position as it ensures foundational technical knowledge relevant to the role.
• At least eight years’ experience in facilities management including fit-out processes and operational oversight within manufacturing environments demonstrates your proven track record.
• Strong understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and leasing practices in Thailand is essential for compliance and effective site management.
• Excellent project management abilities enable you to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining clear communication across teams.
