About the Role

A leading global manufacturer is looking for a Technical Sourcing Engineer to join their Bangkok team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and data analysis, supporting manufacturing sites across Asia and beyond.

You’ll help drive cost-saving and localisation projects, work closely with design, procurement, and IT teams, and collaborate with suppliers to improve sourcing efficiency. If you enjoy solving technical challenges and turning data into real business impact, this role is made for you.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse spare parts usage and identify localisation or cost-saving opportunities.

• Support design and supplier teams to develop localised components.

• Maintain spare parts databases and improve ERP data accuracy.

• Scout and evaluate new suppliers to expand local sourcing capability.

• Track and report savings from localisation and supplier development projects.

• Communicate clearly in English with global teams and suppliers.

What You Bring

• Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering or similar.

• Knowledge of mechanical components and production processes (machining, casting, fabrication).

• Experience in manufacturing engineering, spare parts, or supply chain.

• Strong analytical skills with ERP (SAP/Oracle) and Excel/Power BI.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings (Autocad).

• Good English communication and teamwork skills.
