Our client is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager for their Assembly department. What you'll do:
As an Engineering Manager in the Assembly department, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining exchanges with global manufacturing engineering. Your commitment to applying the latest knowledge in the industry and best practices will drive success. You will collaborate closely with R&D to ensure design for manufacturing, fostering a supportive environment where all departments work together cohesively.

- Work closely with R&D to ensure design for manufacturing
- Ensure cohesive work between engineering, maintenance, tool shop team and other manufacturing departments
- Implement and oversee maintenance processes and tool shop processes
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Engineering Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the automotive industry. With a university degree in Industrial Engineering or a similar field, you have spent at least five years honing your skills. Your proven management abilities set you apart, as does your familiarity with production processes such as pleating, plastic injection molding, plastic welding, and assembly. Your IATF 16949 awareness (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control plan etc.) further enhances your suitability for this role.
- University degree in Industrial Engineering or similar / comparable educational background
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the automotive industry
- Proven management skills
- Familiarity with required production processes and working processes (e.g., pleating, plastic injection molding, plastic welding, assembly)
- IATF 16949 awareness (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control plan etc.)
