The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance planning and execution, team coordination, knowledge sharing, documentation and reporting, as well as continuous improvement and cost optimization.

What you'll do:

As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for filling and packing machines. You will perform regular inspections and repairs to ensure machine reliability while coordinating with the production team for safe and efficient operations. Your expertise will be crucial in transferring technical knowledge to technician teams and production staff. You will also handle work orders in SAP, ensuring they are closed upon task completion. A significant part of your role will involve analyzing machine failures using various tools to identify root causes and preventive actions.

• Develop and implement the interval preventive maintenance plan for filling and packing.
• Perform planned maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure machine reliability and quality.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production team to ensure safe, efficient machine operations.
• Transfer technical knowledge and skills to technician teams and production staff.
• Register work orders in SAP (hours, materials, feedback text) and close them after task completion.
• Analyze machine failures using tools like FMECA, RCA, and 5W to identify root causes and preventive actions.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Engineering Manager position brings a wealth of experience in preventive maintenance and machine reliability. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar preferred) with over five years of expertise in filling and packing machines. Your familiarity with SAP for handling maintenance work orders and spare parts management will be crucial in this role. You have a proven track record of planning, budgeting, and leading cost-saving initiatives. Your strong knowledge of safety and food safety standards (GMP, ISO, HACCP) will ensure compliance in all operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar preferred).
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance and machine reliability, ideally in the food or dairy industry.
• Expertise >5 years in filling and packing machines is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SAP for maintenance work orders and spare parts management.
• Experience in planning, budgeting, and leading cost-saving initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of safety and food safety standards (GMP, ISO, HACCP).
