Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join their After-Sales Service Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of service technicians, manage service contracts, and implement standard work procedures. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute significantly towards the development of the company's services in line with their strategic plan.

What you'll do:

As a Service Manager, your role will be pivotal in leading the After-Sales Service Team. You will be responsible for managing all service-related activities, facilities, equipment, and personnel. Your excellent interpersonal skills will be utilised when contacting customers for technical support and pricing for repairs. You will also be responsible for implementing standard work procedures for overhaul and preventive maintenance. Your commitment to safety will ensure that all practices and procedures are followed as outlined in the safety program.

  • Manage, coach and mentor the team of service technicians
  • Contact customers for technical support, pricing for repairs, overhauls and preventive maintenance
  • Plan and manage the Service Workshop
  • Implement the standard work procedures for overhaul and preventive maintenance
  • Train service technicians
  • Ensure all safety practices and procedures are followed as outlined in the safety program
  • Provide accurate, timely, efficient, and high-quality work to establish and maintain credibility with customers
  • Enter and maintain service data in the IT System(ERP, CRM)
  • Prepare work for the service orders (Repair Shop & Field Service)

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Service Manager role will bring a wealth of experience from previous roles within similar industries. Your technical training in Industrial Technology or Mechanical Engineering will be essential in this role. Your high level of mechanical aptitude or application knowledge will be utilised daily as you manage all service-related activities. Your excellent process control and process improvement techniques will be key to your success in this role.
