This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage asset reliability risks that could impact plant or business operations. What you'll do:

As a Reliability and Maintenance Manager in the Food & Beverage industry, you will play a crucial role in managing asset reliability risks that could potentially impact plant or business operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working closely with the engineering team on new installations, developing design specifications, guiding efforts towards ensuring equipment reliability, refining Asset Maintenance Plans, providing valuable input into Risk Management Plans, analysing assets alongside Production teams, developing solutions for repetitive failures affecting plant operations, and ensuring departmental compliance with all Quality, Productivity and Environmental Programs.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to guarantee that new and updated installations are reliable and easy to maintain.
  • Contribute to creating design and installation guidelines as well as commissioning plans.
  • Oversee efforts to ensure the reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety and security systems.
  • Establish, design, develop, oversee, and improve an Asset Maintenance Plan.
  • Offer insights for a Risk Management Plan to address reliability-related risks that could affect plant operations.
  • Work with the Production team to analyze assets, including their utilization, overall equipment effectiveness, and remaining useful life.
  • Create engineering solutions to address recurring failures and other issues that negatively impact plant operations.
  • Ensure that the department adheres to all Quality, Productivity, and Environmental Programs set by the Plant.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Reliability and Maintenance Manager position will bring a wealth of experience from the technical field within the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry, having experience in blowing and filling process would be advantage. Your experience in developing engineering improvement projects and your working knowledge of PET manufacturing processes will be highly advantageous. You will also have a proven track record of proactively tracking defined indicators or objectives.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical role, ideally within food manufacturing or the consumer goods sector.
  • Experience in supervising personnel, including managing technical teams and cross-functional contractors.
  • Strong capability to work effectively as part of a team with a focus on achieving results.
  • Proven experience in developing engineering improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with the PET manufacturing process is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively monitor and track specific indicators and objectives.
