Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Engineering and Maintenance Manager to join their team in Nakhon Ratchasima. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide leadership, technical knowledge, and collaboration with operations to ensure integration of maintenance services in the attainment of short and long term facility and group objectives. The successful candidate will champion a cultural change focused on increasing plant reliability and performance efficiency, while minimising unscheduled plant interruptions and reducing scheduled downtime.

What you'll do:

As an Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the maintenance of company assets while achieving maximum plant reliability. You will be responsible for implementing continuous improvement processes based on gap identification and elimination. Your focus will be on promoting a culture of high performance, ensuring compliance with maintenance standards, deploying a performance monitoring system, developing long-term reliability plans, contributing to capital planning processes, and leading a team of professionals. Your leadership skills will be crucial in fostering a collaborative environment that prioritises safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

  • Implement, deploy and oversee maintenance and repair processes, incorporating best practices for effective utilisation of employee resources.
  • Promote a performance monitoring system with metrics focusing on asset reliability improvement.
  • Develop a long-term reliability plan to address facility operational improvement and sustainment.
  • Contribute to the capital planning process, preparing relevant capital commitment information for assigned project work.
  • Ensure that maintenance resources are available and information related to equipment reliability is transferred to the project team.
  • Lead and develop a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Engineering and Maintenance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in engineering management. With at least six years of related work experience under your belt, you have developed strong communication skills that allow you to influence others and build collaborative partnerships. Your knowledge of local safety regulations ensures that all operations adhere to the highest standards. Your Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and CMRP certification demonstrate your commitment to continuous improvement and reliability. Your formal training in predictive maintenance technologies will be invaluable in this role.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively within multiple levels of the organisation to influence and build collaborative working partnerships.
  • Working knowledge of local and regional safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
  • Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification.
  • Formal training in predictive maintenance technologies.
  • Three years of supervisory experience.
