You will be part of a supportive network that values collaboration, professional growth, and knowledge sharing. The organisation is committed to providing flexible working opportunities and ongoing training, ensuring you have the resources to thrive both personally and professionally. If you are passionate about risk management and eager to make a meaningful impact within an inclusive environment, this is an exceptional opportunity to advance your career.

* Benefit from flexible working opportunities and access to continuous training programmes designed to enhance your skills and support your career development.
* Be part of a dependable team with supportive leadership that values your interpersonal strengths and commitment to responsible risk management.

What you'll do:

As a Credit Risk Manager based in Bangkok, you will be entrusted with evaluating the financial health of large corporate clients through rigorous analysis of their financial statements, market conditions, and economic indicators. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve preparing thorough credit proposals for senior stakeholders, collaborating across departments to structure appropriate credit facilities, and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards. You will play a vital role in supporting internal audits, regulatory reviews, and examinations related to counterparty credit risk. By fostering strong relationships within the organisation, you will help identify potential risks early on and contribute to developing robust solutions. Your ability to communicate complex concepts effectively will be essential in guiding decision-makers through intricate financial landscapes. This role offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organisation’s risk management strategy while growing your own expertise within a supportive team environment.

* Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial statements, economic data, and market trends for large corporate clients while ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Prepare detailed credit proposals and recommendations for senior stakeholders and credit committees, presenting findings in a clear and accessible manner.
* Collaborate closely with relationship managers, product teams, and other internal units to structure credit facilities that align with agreed-upon credit risk strategies.
* Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements for counterparty risk management, supporting internal audits and regulatory reviews as needed.
* Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to promptly identify, communicate, and resolve risk and control issues.
* Assist with regulatory examinations and auditing tasks related to counterparty credit risk, providing accurate documentation and timely responses.
* Support the development of effective credit risk frameworks by sharing insights on macroeconomic trends, capital markets, public debt instruments, and industry developments affecting large corporate clients.
* Contribute to ongoing process improvements by participating in team discussions focused on enhancing risk assessment methodologies.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant market information tools such as Bloomberg and LSEG Workspace to inform decision-making processes.
* Communicate complex economic and financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences using both spoken and written English as well as local languages.

What you bring:

To excel as a Credit Risk Manager in this esteemed institution, you will bring extensive experience in assessing credit risks for large corporate clients within the banking or financial services sector. Your academic background should include advanced studies in relevant fields such as economics or finance. Demonstrated managerial capabilities—whether through direct supervision or project leadership—will set you apart. Professional certifications further highlight your commitment to excellence. Your deep understanding of macroeconomic factors combined with practical knowledge of capital markets enables you to anticipate industry shifts that may affect client portfolios. Fluency in English along with local languages ensures you can convey complex information clearly across multicultural teams. Technical proficiency with standard office software—and ideally market intelligence platforms—will support your analytical work. Above all else, your interpersonal strengths—empathy, collaboration, sensitivity—will foster trust among colleagues while driving communal success. A willingness to engage in ongoing learning reflects your dedication not only to personal growth but also to contributing positively within an inclusive workplace.

* University degree or higher in risk management, economics, finance, accounting or related fields is required for this position.
* At least six years of proven experience in credit risk assessment within the banking or financial services sector is essential.
* Managerial experience overseeing teams or projects related to credit risk is highly desirable for this role.
* Professional qualifications in Financial Analysis or Risk Management are preferred as they demonstrate advanced technical proficiency.
* Comprehensive understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets, public debt instruments, and industry developments affecting large corporate clients is necessary.
* Excellent command of both spoken and written English as well as local languages (Vietnamese/Indonesian/Thai) is required for effective communication across diverse audiences.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is expected; familiarity with market information tools such as Bloomberg or LSEG Workspace would be advantageous.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and dependability is important for success in this role.
* Strong interpersonal skills including empathy, collaboration, sensitivity towards others’ perspectives, and commitment to communal goals are valued highly.
* Willingness to participate in ongoing training opportunities aimed at enhancing technical knowledge and interpersonal effectiveness.
