Risk Control Manager

A world-leading global bank firm is recruiting a Risk Control Manager (x1 vacancy) in Bangkok to join their team. In this Risk Control Manager job, you will be responsible for leading the business in its next phase of growth.

About the Risk Control Manager Role:

In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest quality service alongside peers (four other country marketing directors). You will also take the lead providing direction to all global bank-related activities, including tasks (brand management, market research, events management and directory/league table submissions). You will enjoy competitive base salary with health insurance and provident fund.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focusing on the credit risk & market risk management
• Responsible for IFRS9 project and reporting including expected credit loss (ECL)
• Focusing on the Basel tools and internal ratings-based (IRB) / calculate Risk Weight Asset from credit exposure
• Willingness to support for requirement from BOT and our parent bank's report or any internal model validation, model development and etc
• Ensure the exposure is within the limit as stipulated by BOT

To succeed in this role, you must have good command of English.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics or related fields
• At least six years of banking experience in credit risk field
• Have a good knowledge of market risk control is a plus
• Background or knowledge about ICAAP, Basel, TFRS9
• Good analytical skills and problem solving
• Excellent in both written and spoken in English
