Head of Operations (Securities)

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Head of Operations to join their team. This role is integral to the success of the organisation, enabling and empowering the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies in collaboration with various business functions to achieve business objectives.
• Lead and manage a team responsible for transaction processing, settlement and other operational functions.
• Identify, monitor and assess operational risks; identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures by working closely with Compliance and Risk management team.
• Ensure high quality service delivery to internal and external customers.
• Streamline processes, enhance efficiency. Optimize workflows and processes for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Manage budgets, forecasting and resource allocation to meet strategic goals.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of operational systems.
• Strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation.
• Manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes.
• Inspire to delight business partners through multiple banking delivery channels.
