Senior – Investor Relations & Corporate Strategy

Save job

A leading organisation in Bangkok is seeking a Senior Corporate Strategy & Investor Relations Lead to drive enterprise-level strategy, performance planning, and institutional communications. This high-impact role sits at the centre of decision-making, translating complex business insights into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership, Board members, and investors. You will shape strategic priorities, deliver rigorous analysis, and align cross-functional stakeholders to influence key business outcomes. Strong bilingual communication skills (Thai and English) and the ability to operate confidently at executive level are essential. This is a rare opportunity to combine strategy, capital markets exposure, and executive visibility in a role that directly impacts business direction.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations Strategist based in Bangkok, you will immerse yourself in a role that demands both analytical rigour and outstanding communication skills. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with various teams—ranging from Strategy to Finance to Technology—to ensure that all analyses are robustly constructed and aligned with broader organisational goals. You will be responsible for distilling complex information into clear narratives that resonate with diverse audiences such as senior leaders or external investors. Success in this position requires not only technical proficiency but also the ability to foster strong working relationships across departments. By managing high-stakes engagements like Board updates or investor meetings with professionalism and composure, you will help shape the company’s strategic direction while ensuring all messaging remains coherent over time.

  • Structure ambiguous business issues into clear problem statements, options, trade-offs, and implications to support discussions with senior leadership.
  • Conduct targeted research and interpret financial as well as operational performance data to identify key drivers, risks, and strategic implications for the organisation.
  • Prepare high-quality materials such as presentations, briefing notes, and Q&A documents tailored for audiences including leadership teams, internal stakeholders, Board of Directors, and investors.
  • Manage communications and engagements with leadership teams, internal stakeholders, Board members, and investors—including investor meetings and roadshows—to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Maintain detailed records of communications and engagements while incorporating feedback to refine positioning and messaging over time.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally across Strategy, Finance, business units, and technology teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, drive decisions, and ensure alignment throughout processes.
  • Strengthen organisational processes by upholding high standards of integrity, accuracy, defensibility, documentation, and disclosure support as applicable.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence of messaging across different time periods and stakeholder groups through rigorous review processes.

What you bring:

To excel as a Senior Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations Strategist you will bring a wealth of experience from roles involving strategy formulation or financial planning—ideally within fast-evolving industries. Your academic background should reflect strong quantitative capabilities which enable you to interpret complex datasets effectively. Beyond technical skills your interpersonal strengths—such as empathy when engaging stakeholders or sensitivity when handling confidential information—will set you apart. You are adept at translating intricate analyses into accessible narratives suitable for varied audiences while consistently delivering polished outputs under tight deadlines. Your proven track record preparing executive-level materials demonstrates your reliability when it comes to supporting critical business decisions. Additionally your capacity for cross-departmental collaboration ensures that all initiatives remain aligned with overarching objectives even amidst shifting priorities.

  • 5–7 years of experience in strategy development, planning roles such as FP&A or investor relations; backgrounds in executive office or consulting are also highly regarded.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as finance, engineering, economics or related disciplines is preferred for this position.
  • Demonstrated ability to frame ambiguous problems clearly while developing actionable options, trade-offs, and recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Proven literacy in financial analysis combined with business performance interpretation skills that translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in both English and Thai with meticulous attention to detail required for preparing executive-ready materials.
  • Experience preparing materials for senior leadership forums including Board-level presentations or investor briefings is essential.
  • Strong sense of ownership coupled with cross-functional influence; able to exercise sound judgment while maintaining discretion during sensitive engagements.
  • Ability to thrive within environments characterised by high stakes or rapid change while demonstrating professional maturity at all times.
  • Nice-to-have: Background in financial services or lending sectors; prior experience supporting Board/investor engagements or strategy/planning cycles; exposure to IPO/fundraising processes.
