What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be entrusted with expanding the company's footprint across multiple markets by identifying lucrative opportunities and nurturing valuable client partnerships. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with potential clients through presentations and negotiations, managing complex tender processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.   • Identify and target potential new clients throughout Thailand, Southeast Asia, and the broader APAC region by leveraging market research and industry insights.
  • Prepare compelling presentations for prospective customers and manage tender processes from initial contact through to submission, ensuring all proposals align with company objectives.
  • Develop tailored proposals and lead negotiations with clients, clearly outlining desired outcomes while maintaining transparency around acceptable terms.
  • Collaborate with Operations and HR teams to analyse staffing requirements and profitability forecasts for new business initiatives.
  • Coordinate with commercial, operational, and quality assurance teams to implement innovative products that meet evolving customer needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive marketing research to inform annual business development strategies that align with global commercial objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with influential stakeholders within targeted client groups by attending industry events, conferences, and association meetings.
  • Support the seamless roll-out of new customer products by ensuring operational readiness, delivering training sessions, and preparing up-to-date manuals or guidelines.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive account management focused on retaining profitable long-term relationships.
  • Review existing operational setups for inefficiencies in customer workflows and negotiate practical solutions that enhance service delivery.

What you bring:

Your background includes substantial experience in sales or key account management roles within relevant industries such as insurance or travel assistance.   • Experience working in Asia is highly desirable as it demonstrates cultural awareness and adaptability within diverse markets.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (native or bilingual) as well as fluency in the local language ensures effective communication across regional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills enable you to present ideas clearly and build rapport with stakeholders from different backgrounds.
