Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to lead their Agency Strategy and Transformation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic vision for the agency channel, drive transformational initiatives, and foster a culture of innovation and agility. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, transformation leadership, and performance management within the insurance or financial services industry.

What you'll do:

As Vice President - Head of Agency Strategy and Transformation, you will be instrumental in shaping the future direction of our client's agency channel. You will formulate a clear strategic vision that aligns with the company's broader business objectives. Your role will involve identifying growth opportunities within the agency distribution channel and leading transformative initiatives to enhance productivity. You will also oversee sales campaigns to ensure alignment with financial goals. A key part of your role will be driving cultural change across the organisation by promoting new processes, technologies, and ways of working. You will establish KPIs to measure performance while cultivating strong relationships with various stakeholders.

  • Formulate, communicate, and execute the strategic vision and goals for the agency channel in alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, market expansion, and innovation within the agency distribution channel.
  • Lead the design and implementation of transformational initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, agility, and competitiveness.
  • Oversee sales campaigns and activities to align with financial goals.
  • Drive cultural change and adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure effectiveness and performance.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with agency leaders, agents, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Utilize market insights to inform strategic decision-making.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Vice President - Head of Agency Strategy and Transformation role brings a wealth of experience from the life insurance industry. You have a proven track record in strategic planning, transformation leadership, and performance management. Your strong analytical skills enable you to interpret data and trends, informing your decision-making process. You are an excellent communicator with the ability to manage complex projects and drive change management initiatives. Your knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory requirements will be crucial in this role.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in life insurance with proven success in strategic planning, transformation leadership, and performance management.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English.
  • Experience managing complex projects and driving change management initiatives.
  • Knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory requirements.
