Accounting ( Manager / Assistant Manager) - Unit Link

An exciting Accounting Manager (x1 vacancy) job has arisen in a leading insurance company in Bangkok.

About the Accounting Manager Role:

In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the updated accounting standard of the business, delivering the highest quality of accounting method , principles and policies. You will also take the lead providing direction to all accounting and financial reporting or accounting related activities which focusing on the "Unit link" product in the life insurance company. The salary offered is competitive with variable bonus and medical insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• In charge of Unit link accounting including of design accounting process, accounting mapping and impact of related financial statements, UAT, being part of project team
• Review investment accounting related unit link activities including review accounting transaction, reconciliation, and investment reports
• Review unit-linked accounting related activities accounting transaction
• Prepare other account reconciliations Unit Link and non Unit Link to ensure accuracy and reliable against with related supporting documents
• Managing the overall accounting activities including monthly/ annual financial close process, ensure of the accuracy of accounting transactions and comply with Company’s accounting policy, OIC’s and SEC’s regulations and Thai Accounting Standards
• Prepare relevant reports according to OIC and SEC’ s regulations
• Dealing with auditors, OIC, and Revenue Department on finance and accounting related matters

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Five to seven years’ experience in accounting, preferable in insurance business or audit big 4 would be advantage
• Experience in multi-national company environment
• Able to communicate in English
• Advance skill in MS Excel
• High accountability, Self-motivate and discipline
• Good knowledge in accounting transactions
• Strong planning and business analytical skills, service-minded, open-minded, results-oriented, and proactive
