VP- Credit Risk Management (Credit Card Business)

About the Role: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Vice President for Credit Risk Management to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in credit and fraud risk policy development, portfolio management, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement credit card risk management policies in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Design and build up credit card underwriting process.
• Submit RFP (Request For Proposal) and BRS (Business Requirement Spec.) and co-work with project team (PM, IT, Users, vendors)
• Conduct vendor selection for risk systems (Loan Origination System, Credit Decision Engine and Fraud Management System)
• Design, build, and maintain risk scoring systems and tools to assess and mitigate potential risks.
• Utilize MIS for tracking, reporting, and analysis of key risk indicators.
• Implement customer segmentation and manage model portfolios, ensuring appropriate risk diversification and client group management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure comprehensive risk assessments and support for business decisions.
• Strong background in credit and fraud risk policy development
• Proficiency in English for effective business communication
• Hands-on experience with risk scoring systems, MIS tracking, and customer segmentation

Key Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or statistics
• 10 years’ experience in credit card risk management.
• Knowledge of Retail Risk Policies especially in credit card/revolving loan
• Experience with Retail Scorecard
• Understanding of IFRS9 ECL provisioning model
• Familiarity with Regulation reporting such as Basel
• Good communication skills in English.
• Experience with credit card risk process planning and related system implementation
• Experience with credit card fraud control and management
