About the Trade Service Operations Team Lead Role:

Reporting to the Head of Operation, you will lead all activity activities and manage teams across area resp. As the Trade Service Operations Team Lead, you will be in charge of resp. You will enjoy competitive base salary with bonus and provident fund.

Key Responsibilities:

• To process all trade service operations on import & export section, supply chain financing, pre-post financing product financing product, trade documentation
• To cope with the bank's strategy, policy and regulatory requirements
• To minimise the operational error, identify associated risk exposure and permanent control for trade products & process
• To monitor and ensure daily operation's smoothness, productivity and quality
• To improve productivity and ensure operations cost is within allocated budget
• Responsible doe conducting projects and ad-hoc follow-up/study as assigned/delegated
• To prepare reports and statistics per management's request
• To drive new capacities/initiatives for trade service operations on export section and supply chain finance across the bank network
• To assist team lead, drive the business as usual activities of the business and focus on continuous quality improvements and customer service experience
• To assist team, lead identified opportunities that will grow and contribute to the supply chain business. Conceptualise and bring to market new products, solutions to meet the customer's needs
• To assist team and lead for product development, responsible for business requirements, review of functional specifications and participate in user acceptance testing along with processes and documentation
• To assist team and lead on process review, analysis redesign, improvements experiences is highly recommended
• Actively drive and participate in the payment initiatives of the bank
• Back up to Trade Services Team Lead (Export and Supply Chain Financing) to achieve the objective of the bank
• Direct contribution to the Bank Operational Permanent Control Framework, legal and regulatory requirement
• Ensuring to follow operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities
• Ensuring to comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
• Monitoring all incidents is reported to management and incident management system according to the bank policy
• Minimising operational failure, risk of fraud, by helping to devise, by implementing sufficient regular controls
• Assist and supply information requires by SPOC in order to reply to SPOC level B1
• Contact with customer to collates documents requested by SPOC/B1
• Ensure relevance of documents (e.g., all in English) before sending them back to SPOC/B1
• To be in alert mode for any transactions done in the sanction countries but also in Myanmar (to inform asap to the RM. the compliance and the line manager). Ensure to have the compliance sign off before processing the transaction
• Operation strategy an integral part of the control framework including for AML/FS topics. In that respect, in performing your role you are expected to ensure adherence to AML/FS-related Group Policies and execution of associated operational controls, and to promptly escalate any resulting hit for analysis and decision
• KYC
• Verify the client's KYC status during the pre-processing of Trade transaction or upon referral from GTFO. In the event of detection of special condition (e.g., KYC Freeze, Dormant account etc), ensure that the transaction has been duly escalated and approval obtained as required by the relevant KYC policy

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge of transactional banking especially trade finance product and payment products
• Satisfy the client's need with service mind
• Knowledge of BOT's regulations, SWIFT knowledge
• Working in pressure area, command in English both speaking and writing, good computer skill
• Accounting skill, managerial skill, trade product and advance trade including trade Risk Management Product and knowledge
• UCP600, ISP98, URDG
• At least Bachelor’s degree
• At least seven -10 years of experience in related field
• Problem solving and willingness to learn more, CDCS certificate would be preferable
• Control oriented
• Team managing and coaching skill
• Communication and conflict management
• Ability to prioritise daily BAU
