Head of Compliance (Auto Lease)

Our client is seeking a seasoned Head of Compliance to join their team in Bangkok. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the compliance strategies within a dynamic organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining accountabilities, enforcing policies and procedures, and planning and reviewing compensation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accomplish compliance strategies by determining accountabilities
• Enforce values, policies, and procedures
• Implement recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counselling, disciplinary, and communication programs
• Plan and review compensation strategies
• Develop compliance organisational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction
• Establish compliance operational strategies by evaluating trends
• Protect assets by establishing compliance standards
• Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing regulations; recommending new procedures; complying with legal requirements
• Lead and shape compliance strategies
• Develop organisational and operational strategies
• Ensure legal compliance

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Laws or any related fields from a reputational university (holding Master Degree from an overseas is a plus)
• At least 10 years of experience in Financial industry or related field (Leasing, financial services, banking)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in management level
• Strong knowledge of compliance standards and regulations (BOT)
• Excellent strategic planning skills
• Ability to evaluate trends and establish operational strategies
• Experience in managing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counselling, disciplinary, and communication programs
