Regulatory Compliance Manager

A leading international global bank business is seeking a high-calibre Regulatory Compliance (x1 vacancy) in Bangkok to support a large, complex business unit with a regional remit.

About the Regulatory Compliance Role:

In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the broad business of compliance matters, delivering the highest quality responsibility on the regulatory, rules and guideline of the banking compliance. You will also take the lead providing direction to all compliance review , policies and advisory related activities , including operational risk and permanent control , internal and external stakeholder management. The benefits for this role includes provident fund, insurance, variable bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working on the regulatory watch and updating procedures relating to regulatory guidelines and rules
• Validates the policies to be adhered by the territory and controls that they are respected and implemented
• Works in close cooperation with Head of Compliance for the territory and business line heads to ensure consistency of decisions and operating models
• Responsible as a regulatory liaison
• Leads, manages and supports compliance, permanent control and operational risk teams in his/her perimeter

To succeed in this role, you must have good command of English.

Key Requirements:

• University graduate with major in Business Administration, Legal, Finance or Accounting
• At least five years of banking and/or regulatory experience
• Good communication both in Thai and English (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge in BOT and other related regulations.
