Derivative Business Development - Product

A rapidly expanding securities firm is looking for a talented Derivative Business Development - Product (x1 vacancy) in Bangkok to take on a newly created role. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all finance-related functions.

About the Derivative Business Development - Product Role:

Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Derivative Business Development - product will play a key role in the financial services team's continued development and success in its Bangkok. You will enjoy medical insurance and provident fund for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall equity derivative product marketing involving internal distribution (e.g. Retail and Wealth) and external institutional parties (e.g. asset managers, banks, insurers)
• Responsible for overall equity derivative product structuring and developing functions involving internal distribution (i.e. broker, Wealth) and external institutional parties (i.e. asset managers, banks, insurers)
• Coordinating the operational readiness process and managing stakeholders such as risk, finance, legal and operations
• Taking responsibility for product documentation and any regulatory submissions/approvals that may be required
• To be a product advocate and conduct any necessary briefings with stakeholders, regulators, distribution channels and clients
• Ad-hoc tasks from time to time

To succeed in this role, you must have good command of English.

Key Requirements:

• Strong command of English and Thai, both spoken and written
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills
• Effective communication and project management skills, and able to work under pressure
• About three years’ experience in a product related role
• Experience in DW filing and structured product documentation will be an added advantage
