Accounting Manager 180K - Confidential

As the Accounting Manager, you will monitor and oversee the overall accounting and finance operations for the company. This includes managing a team who have significant tenure at the company. You will be responsible for improving internal processes, implementing a new accounting system, and ensuring smooth collaboration with external auditors and tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and oversee the overall accounting and finance operations for the listed company.
2. Manage and lead a team to ensuring effective operations and collaboration.
3. Identify and implement improvements to internal accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
4. Lead the implementation of the accounting system in the post-go-live phase, ensuring smooth adoption and functionality.
5. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports to support internal decision-making.
6. Provide support on tax matters, ensuring compliance and handling communications with the Revenue Department.
7. Serve as the primary point of contact for Big 4 auditors, facilitating audits and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
2. Able to relocate is a must.
3. At least 5 years of experience in a public company in an accounting management role.
4. Experience in managing and leading a team of subordinates.
5. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new accounting systems and processes.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Teams and other relevant accounting software.
7. Strong commercial acumen and business sense.
