What you'll do:

As a Commercial and Finance Business Partner – Food Retail based in Bangkok, your day-to-day activities will centre around delivering insightful analysis that supports both operational excellence and strategic growth. You will be instrumental in shaping the product offering through detailed SKU performance reviews while also playing a key role in assessing new store formats or locations. Your ability to monitor store performance will ensure that any variances are quickly identified and addressed with thoughtful recommendations.

• Analyse SKU-level performance across both owned and franchise stores to optimise product mix, pricing strategies, and shelf allocation for maximum profitability.
• Support feasibility assessments for new retail formats and company-owned branches by conducting detailed store-level profit and loss reviews and payback analyses.
• Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to test, evaluate, and refine new concepts, formats, or product introductions based on robust data analysis.
• Monitor ongoing performance metrics for existing stores—including sales figures, margins, labour productivity, and return on investment—to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Develop standardised reporting tools for monthly operations reviews and management meetings to provide clear visibility into business performance.
• Identify underperforming stores by analysing key drivers of variance versus plan; propose practical improvement initiatives backed by data insights.
• Assist senior leaders with cross-functional projects such as expansion planning, partnership evaluations, cost-reduction programmes, or system implementations.
• Prepare materials for internal reviews, investor discussions, and board meetings to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Act as an analytical problem solver across fast-moving operational and commercial topics by providing timely ad hoc analysis as required.

• Advanced analytical skills combined with strong financial modelling abilities using Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to translate complex data sets into clear insights and actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes.
• Comfort working alongside senior management in a fast-growing environment where hands-on involvement is valued.
• Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English are required to collaborate effectively across teams.
