FP&A Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FP&A Manager to join their team in Bangkok. This role offers a unique chance to contribute significantly to operational decision-making using financial data, provide financial consulting to Company Management, and facilitate knowledge sharing.

What you'll do:

As a FP&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's operations in Thailand. You will lead the planning and management accounting processes, ensuring that all forecasts and budgets align with group requirements. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you identify areas for improvement, define actions, and manage implementation. You will also have the opportunity to offer your expertise on commercial terms for major projects. In addition, you will oversee treasury initiatives, manage statutory reports, audits, tax controls, and ensure compliance with internal audit findings.

• Lead and coordinate rolling forecast and annual budgeting process for short and mid-term plans.
• Support country leadership team in setting financial goals; prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Perform regular finance dashboard, financial analysis, simulations and report them proactively.
• Review areas for financial or process improvements, align them to Group requirements.
• Offer advice on commercial terms and conditions for tenders and contracts for major projects.
• Oversee and monitor working capital and cash positions together with local business teams.
• Support month-end closing process, review closing result to ensure group reporting is done accurately and timely.
• Manage and oversee the financial risk and compliance management of the country.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this FP&A Manager position brings a wealth of experience in financial planning and commercial finance areas within multinational corporations. You hold a university degree or higher in finance or accounting (or equivalent), along with ACCA/CPA qualifications. Your fluency in English (both oral and written) enables you to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. You are proficient in using SAP or other ERP software, as well as Microsoft Office tools. Your excellent data analysis, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills will be key to your success in this role.

• University degree or above in finance and accounting or equivalent disciplines.
• 7+ years MNC working experience in financial planning and commercial finance areas.
• Fluent in both oral and written English.
• Good hands-on SAP knowledge or other ERP software is also welcomed.
• Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in PowerBI is a plus.
• Excellent skills in data analysis, problem solving, communication, presentation.
