Financial Controller (Trading)

As Financial Controller, you will be entrusted with overseeing all finance and accounting activities while playing a crucial role in supporting the company's strategic ambitions. • Oversee all aspects of finance and accounting operations to ensure effective financial management across the organisation.
• Manage comprehensive financial reporting processes that support business objectives and provide clarity for senior management.
• Deliver detailed financial analysis, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations to guide decision-making and promote sustainable business growth.
• Supervise accounting operations to guarantee accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings in line with best practices.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, legal requirements, and internal control policies at all times.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial policies as well as internal controls to enhance organisational processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team by promoting capability building, performance excellence, and ongoing professional growth.

• Comprehensive understanding of finance principles including budgeting, taxation, statutory compliance, reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ERP/accounting systems alongside advanced Microsoft Office skills for effective data analysis and presentation.
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken to facilitate clear communication across diverse teams.
• Proven ability to deliver analytical insights coupled with strategic thinking that supports business growth initiatives.
• Experience developing financial policies as well as implementing process improvements within large organisations is highly desirable.
