Finance Manager (Commercial Finance)

We are seeking a Finance Manager (Commercial Finance) to play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision making. This position combines FP&A, commercial finance, and financial control responsibilities within a well established manufacturing environment.

You will partner closely with business leaders to provide financial insights, improve visibility, and ensure strong financial governance while supporting growth initiatives.

Ideal for candidates with CPD and a balance of technical accounting and commercial finance experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a finance business partner to leadership and commercial teams, supporting pricing, promotions, and strategic decisions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes aligned with business objectives
• Monitor performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and identifying risks and opportunities
• Deliver accurate and timely management reports to support decision making
• Analyse profitability across customers, products, and channels
• Oversee daily finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
• Ensure timely and accurate month end and year end closing
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities
• Review and approve payments, purchase orders, and credit limits within authority
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisor, and external stakeholders
• Oversee tax compliance and statutory reporting
• Drive process improvements and enhance efficiency across finance operations
• Develop and track financial and operational KPIs
• Lead and develop finance team members

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPD is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance managerial role
• Strong experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering
• Background in manufacturing, consumer goods, or related industries preferred
• Experience in multinational environment is an advantage
• Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems
