Accounting Assistant General Manager - Manufacturing

A leading multinational manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant General Manager to lead accounting operations and financial reporting for its Thailand manufacturing entity in Chonburi. This role will oversee financial compliance, statutory reporting, and accounting processes while partnering with senior management to support business performance and operational efficiency.

An international manufacturing organisation with strong operations in Thailand is looking to appoint an experienced Accounting Assistant General Manager to join its finance leadership team. This role will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, and supporting senior management with financial insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and IFRS
• Provide financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support senior management in strategic planning and operational decision making
• Monitor cash flow and financial planning to ensure the organisation maintains strong financial stability
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory tax filings including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax
• Provide accounting guidance related to operational areas such as inventory management, manufacturing processes, procurement, and warehouse operations
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Strengthen internal control systems and support internal and external audit processes
• Review and improve accounting procedures, financial processes, and internal policies to increase efficiency and transparency
• Lead and develop the accounting team to strengthen financial capabilities and improve overall performance

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including leadership experience within multinational manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial analysis
• Hands on experience with SAP systems
• Experience dealing with BOI related matters will be advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
• Good command of English communication
