Costing Manager (Manufacturing)

A long-established food manufacturing company with strong international partnerships and modern production facilities. We are seeking an experienced Cost Accounting professional to manage product costing, analyse manufacturing costs, and support operational and strategic decision-making at our Chachoengsao facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive cost accounting system to accurately calculate product costs for each SKU and production lot.

• Calculate and control costs including raw materials, labour, and manufacturing overhead using appropriate allocation methods.

• Manage and control cost calculations based on Bills of Materials (BOM) through the ERP system.

• Analyse actual costs versus standard costs and identify root causes of variances.

• Review inventory movements and ensure accurate valuation of Raw Materials (RM), Work in Process (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG).

• Prepare detailed reports on production costs, cost of goods sold (COGS), and supporting schedules for management review.

• Conduct inventory checks for raw materials and packaging materials and prepare inventory and cost-related reports.

• Analyse efficiency and performance across various stages of the production process to support continuous improvement.

• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in food manufacturing is a strong advantage.

• CPA and/or CFA certification is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems or equivalent cost management systems.

• Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
